In order to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment, we are committed to:
We design 20-year lifetime equipment and more, up to 40 years. We have to ensure they are sustainable and performant. We implement environment-friendly processes for every step of the design and manufacturing, and even when the equipment is installed at the customer's.
According to the failures encountered, several solutions can be implemented:
The European Directive RoHS (2002/95/CE) restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) : lead ; mercury ; cadmium ; hexavalent chromium ; polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).
These substances also have a direct negative impact on public health, occupational health, environment, climate, worldwide economy and can be related directly or indirectly to local wars or tensions.
When we select our electronic cards components, we make sure that none of our chosen components contain more than 0.1% of chemical substances listed in the REACH European directive .
The European directive REACH protects human health and environment from some chemical substances.
There is a list of involved chemical substances, updated regularly. To comply with this directieve, any removable element of the equipment cannot contain more than 0.1% of these substances, or a declaration has to be made.
